Frequently asked questions

Is it only suitable for beginner players?

Even if you've been playing padel for a long time, it doesn't mean you have a good grip on the racket. On the contrary, the vast majority of amateur players don't know how to hold the racket correctly, which prevents them from improving their game and moving up a level.

Imagine you're trying to improve your soccer skills, you spend a lot of money on classes, nutrition, and the best boots on the market, and it turns out you're unable to grow because you're wearing the boots on the wrong foot.

The same thing happens with padel. We think the problem is the racket, the shoes, our physique... And the answer is much simpler—and we think you've already figured it out.

Does the Auro Grip affect the weight of the racket?

Auro weighs 20 grams, which increases the overall weight of the racket. However, since it's placed on top of the racket's handle, it barely affects its balance, and its ergonomic design makes the grip completely unnoticed by the player.

Can I easily change grips?

Our Grip is mainly designed to help you learn how to use the continental grip, since with this grip you can perform the vast majority of shots and even play an entire match without needing to change grips.

We believe that the continental grip is the foundation of all technical skills for a padel player, and any beginner or intermediate player should practice using the same grip. Grip changes do exist in padel, but they are more common at advanced or semi-professional levels, where mastery of the continental grip is already well established.

We do not recommend obsessing over grip changes at intermediate levels, let alone at beginner levels!

Can I play with Auro or is it only for use during training?

Auro Grip can be used in both matches and training. At a higher level of play, it's recommended to remove the Auro Grip for matches, as grip changes will be necessary. At this level, the grip should be used to strengthen the technique of specific shots in training. However, at intermediate and beginner levels, the Continental grip is perfectly fine to play with, and during training, it's essential to use the Auro Grip.

Will it cause pain in my forearm?

The Auro Grip may feel uncomfortable when you first try it, but this is completely normal, as it means you're simply changing the way you hold the racket. However, the grip will never injure the player; quite the opposite. We have real-life examples of players who have stopped feeling discomfort in their forearms and elbows after starting to play with the Auro Grip.

If I sweat a lot, can it bother me?

The material used to make the grip is perfect for use in humid conditions, whether caused by temperature or hand sweat.

You can always use adhesive sprays to further improve the grip with our grip.

I also play tennis, could I use it with a racket?

Auro Grip is a universal grip system for most racket sports, not just padel. Tennis requires more rapid grip changes, but we can use Auro Grip to strengthen the technique of specific shots during training. In addition to tennis and padel, Auro Grip is perfect for racquetball, squash, pickleball, and other sports.

Are shipments only to Spain?
